Porto Allegre is close to the ocean which means the temperature differences will be smaller than in Dallas which is continental, since the Water conserves energy.

I think he has improved a lot since last year. I remember him being a complete crybaby and this year, he's gotten past that phase and just went on to play hard and help the Pens get to where they are now.

Shattuck St Marys is a prep school. Even if you mange to get in, I doubt you'd be playing for their team. You can't buy your way to the pros.

Crosby had a personal trainer for teaching him conditioning, and had coaches on may different teams. He also went to camps in the summer, but I don't know which ones. You probably had to be at a certain level to get in those camps too- meaning a tryout. I doubt you could just buy your way into the ones he would be going to.
