well the store that sells ligne roset also sells another brand which is cheaper, ask to see other items than ligne roset.

Many shops will have some modern items, a lot of it will be tasteless and horrible, I don't like most of them personally, except for Al Wahat but it is not really modern, although he will have a couple of pieces.
Check the neighboring stores to the ones you visit.

Also keep in mind that furniture in Jeddah is a RIPOFF no matter where you go. City Plaza and Ikea will be the cheapest in cost.
