As announced in November, Apple has tripled the song preview length in iTunes from 30 to 90 seconds. Unfortunately, the lengthier song previews are only live in the U.S. store, only work for certain songs in the iTunes catalog, and even then (as Apple originally announced), only songs longer than 2 minutes and 30 seconds [...]

It’s hitting the tech blog news wires today that Apple is informing music labels that they will be tripling the preview length for iTunes songs over 2 minute and 30 seconds long.
