Filmgator – If you love movies, you probably already know about IMDB, the Internet’s premier movie database. Filmgator similarly aims to index every movie on the planet, but does so in a way IMDB doesn’t focus on: with a focus on social networking. 		Freenapkin – People have stuff. Lots of it. Garages, attics, living rooms – it’s amazing how quickly having stuff can fill all your space. On the other hand, some people need stuff and don’t have money to buy it. Freenapkin.com aims to solve both of these problems at once. If you have stuff you want to get rid of you can post it here. 		Vintage Ad Browser – As someone who loves history and all things old, VintageAdBrowser is right up my street. This website hosts cool vintage ad collections organized into 53 different categories. 		YouLyrics – is a simple and easy to use web-based tool that helps you watch a song video on YouTube along with its lyrics placed right beside the video. You just have to type the name of the artist and the song, and then hit search. Read more: YouLyrics: Listen To YouTube Songs With Lyrics.

		IndoChino – is a site where you can order custom made men’s suits and get them shipped to your place within 2 weeks of order, no matter where you are in the world. The site offers different kinds of designer suits that are hand made in their China offices and then shipped worldwide. You can also find shirts, coats, blazers and more in men’s clothing. Subs.to – Some movies are so good that even though you don’t understand the language, you still enjoy them. In situations like these, subtitles make it easy for you to understand whats going on in the movie. If you don’t know where to find subtitles for movies, start with Subs.to. Subs.to is an excellent resource to find and download subtitles for new and old movies alike. Subtitles are provided in over 25 languages and can be downloaded in the srt or sub formats. 		Gamescootch – eBay runs thousands of auctions related to video games and gaming consoles everyday. Due to the sheer number of auctions, they are scattered over a lot of categories and it is hard to keep an eye on them. 		Hurricanewatch – is an interactive hurricane tracker for viewing hurricane tracks, storm paths and advisories on an interactive map. Currently it focuses on hurricanes in the Atlantic going back up to 1950 and uses Microsoft Silverlight and Bing Maps to create an interactive application. 		Vizband – There are plenty of ways and tools to search for YouTube videos. VizBand is a little different from all of them since it lets you see the results in a visual mashup. When you search for something using VizBand, the visual search results contain 50 thumbnails mashed up together with no text information or links displayed. 		Prettyprinter – is an online source code formatting utility. It’s an elegant tool to effectively format your code, based on the options available. Just copy and paste your source code into the field provided, check mark the appropriate options and click on ‘submit query‘. Then you will be provided with the corresponding formatted code. Please Donate To The Haitian Earthquake Victims – Here’s How

ICRC_logo_1 The island of Haiti is currently going through the after-effects of one of its worst earthquakes ever, with an estimated 50,000 people dead, although many millions more people are badly affected. Whether they are injured, homeless, mourning the loss of a loved one or all three, I don’t imagine there is anyone on the island who hasn’t been affected by this terrible event.

MakeUseOf would like to urge all of our readers to donate whatever you can to the various charities trying to help the earthquake victims of Haiti. Even if it’s just a few dollars or a few Euros, every little bit helps. It’s very easy to sit in safety in your own home wherever you are in the world and switch off to what is happening. What if this earthquake happened to YOU? Wouldn’t YOU like the rest of the world to come rescue you and aid you in your hour of need? The Haitian people deserve no less.

However, there are many heartless vultures out there who prey on this kind of incident to rip people off and steal of all the money for themselves. Therefore you should only donate to reputable organisations who are guaranteed to pass the money onto whoever needs it the most. You should also donate only cash and not tangible goods such as clothes.

Lifehacker has listed a lot of places you can consider but the two we recommend are the International Red Cross and Medecins San Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders). Here are the links :
