Re-align in 3 minutes and 59 seconds

Mike Kus recently did an unauthorized re-align of innocentdrinks.co.uk which he unveiled at FOWD London. The point of the excercise was to demonstrate the importance of communicating the personality of a company on it’s website – making it more human. Interestingly, after he showed the video, Innocent got in touch with him about possibly working together.

He recorded the entire design process and sped it up to 3 minutes and 59 seconds and I think you’ll like it.

New Blood 2011

We’re not the only ones showcasing graduates, you know. This year’s D&AD New Blood festival is entitled ‘Our Digital Future’ and aims to equip new graduates with the digital armoury they need to fight their way into the workplace. With 41 partners hosting 50 events, it’s free for all graduating students and it’s running from 30 June to 4 July at the Old Truman Brewery, London, as part of Free Range. Places are limited so register now to avoid disappointment.

Alex Hunter’s Adventures in Digital Marketing

Using HTML5 sensibly and multimedia on the web

CG academy Escape Studios has launched its annual search for the hottest new computer graphics talent, in the form of CG Whiz 10. Open to anyone looking to break into the world of CG who hasn’t previously worked professionally in a CG role, the competition will award one winner a 12-week VFX classroom course at Escape Studios’ academy in either London or Los Angeles, plus a four-week placement at The Mill. Runners up will also receive a selection of mentored and online courses. To enter CG Whiz 2010, you’ll need to upload a showreel or set of stills compiled into a video to one of Escape Studios’ social media channels.
