Sure, you only need maybe a 26 inch set to see everything just fine, but there’s nothing quite like a picture that’s larger than life. And for that, most often, you’ll need a projector, or you’ll need to go to the movies outright. But the folks out at the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology in Japan have done it again with a huge, 200 inch 3D display that doesn’t even require you to wear glasses to watch.

Or at least it is by Fujitsu. Their recently unveiled Esprimo FH99/CM all-in-one desktop PC claims to deliver 3D experience without any side effects like head aches, eye strain, etc. There are very few existing examples of 3D gaming or movie experience of reasonable performance without glasses. And no of them have yet gone mainstream. Well, Esprimo FH99/CM looks promising. Comes out in Japan on February 25 for equivalent of $3,100. Follow the link for the specs what there is of them.

You might know that Nintendo 3DS was previously suspended from 2010’s holyday season sales in American while still appearing in the market of Japan. So now neither of these countries and not any other will see 3DS console on sale soon enough to start thinking of one. Nintendo plans to start shipment to Japan in late winter (February 26 is the date as the officials suggest) and the rest of the planet will have to wait till March. Pricing, so far, remains at around $300.
