What can you use the application for?


Crowdbooster is an application that provides Twitter analytics. The results provided are formulated to show performance metrics for each individual tweet.

What is the history and popularity of the application?


Crowdbooster is a creation of Conversely, Inc. – a company founded in the spring of 2010. The site is currently in beta and no traffic information is available.

What are the differences to other applications?


This application provides the most in-depth analytics of Twitter use available. It calculates and scatter plots each tweet to determine the ones with the most retweets for a user defined time period.

How does the application look and feel to use?


The interactive graph helps users visualize very effectively what tweets prompted retweets, clickthroughs, and more. Further analysis of followers enables users to determine which are most likely to promote the user and therefore his or her campaign can be directed towards those fans.

Reports can be generated in PDF and Excel to share follower growth, conversion volume, reach, and follower information.

The application even provides recommendations based on past performance to assist in timing tweets.

How does the registration process work?


Currently, Crowdbooster is taking Beta requests. Users must indicate whether they are a personal or business user, whether they are willing to discuss the app with the developers, email notification options, email address, Twitter accounts, referral source, and what the user wants from Crowdbooster. Once submitted, the user will receive an email notification that they are on the list for beta membership and will be invited shortly.

Pricing information is not yet available as the application is in beta.

When Google says reach and relevance at a glance, it is referring to a new interactive graph feature, which lets advertisers see which sites in their plan provide the best reach and relevance.

"In its default setting, the graph will compare sites in your search results by audience reach and composition index," explains Google’s Katrina Kurnit. "Sites with the most reach will appear in the top-left quadrant. Sites with the most relevance will appear in the bottom-right quadrant. Sites near the top-right quadrant will have the best combination of both reach and relevance."

Users can customize the graph in a number of different ways. The feature is discussed in more detail on this page.

 Google has added subdomain data that gives you more detailed views of sites. It can help users refine their media plan by providing more info on specific pages. It lets usres search for subdomains, view the top subdomains based on total domain traffic for a site, view traffic, demographics and other data for the subdomain itself, and add subdomains to their media plan.

The Ad Placements feature consists of specific sections of a site where advertising can be purchased. This feature allows advertisers to review placement data for sites in the Google Content Network, and beta test publishers using Google Ad Manager. Google says more placement data will be coming soon.

Google says publishers and site owners can now use Google Ad Planner to share more Google Analytics data points like page views, unique visitors, total visits, average visits per visitor, and average time on site.

Among the new features is the ability to narrow any search down to spans of a mere five minutes. While it’s not for everyone, if you’re trying to find better ways to filter the fire hose of information that is real-time data, Delicious’ new search tool is an easy way to do it.

There’s also a very cool new interactive graph for filtering bookmarks around larger chunks of time. For example, if you wanted to see all your bookmarks added on this day last year, just click the interactive graph, select the start and end points and then click the search button to narrow the results.

While narrowing by time is hardly a new feature, the graphical interface is considerably more intuitive (and cooler) than simply plugging your dates in a text field. If nothing else, it’s a nice example of how much careful attention to interface design can improve a website.

In fact, the new Delicious seems to have something of fetish for charts and graphs. Charts also appear on each link’s “count” page, showing who has bookmarked it. For example, the Webmonkey homepage has been bookmarked over 5500 times, but the new chart (click the chart icon to see it) reveals a huge spike in June 2008 shortly after we relaunched the site.

Delicious’ new charts aren’t limited to the site either. There’s a new “Tagometer” widget that allows you to embed a chart on your own pages showing the number of saves over time and the most frequently-used tags. Right now you’ll need to cut-and-paste some JavaScript into your pages, but it probably won’t be long before someone creates a plug-in for WordPress and other platforms.

The final change Delicious has unveiled is an iPhone-optimized mobile site. The site is geared toward making it easier to bookmark pages on the iPhone, so you can read them later. While we prefer Instapaper for that sort of thing, the Delicious mobile site has other options — like quickly browsing recent bookmarks — which heavy users will appreciate.
