It's probably to make him appear bigger and therefore more intimidating. My cat does the same thing when she sees a strange cat outside. It's a defensive/aggresive behaviour that can happen during play or serious encounters in defending territory.

My friend and her 3 kids love these! Far as I know it is peanut butter and the jarred marshmellow stuff. I would totally try it, I just never think about getting the stuff when I am at the store.

yogurt, cream cheese and marshmallow fluff cream
12 oz. cream cheese
1 – 7oz. jarr marshmallow cream
1 or 1 1/2 cup yogurt
In small bowl, with electric mixer, cream the cheese until soft and smooth. Add the marshmallow cream and the yogurt. Blend just until well-combined. Cover and chill several hours before serving.
