As a supervisor of volunteers for twelve years, I would advise you to choose a charity whose mission and history you can be proud of. There are so many charitable organizations who would love to have someone like you; you are honest and do your research. Think of the many missions you are interested in: homelessness, AIDS, developmental disabilities, joblessness, poverty, etc. Then, go to the links I have provided below, and look for a charity in your area whose mission supports the cause you are interested in. Both you and the charity will benefit more if you are wholeheartedly driven to one particular charity. The rewards are immense. Good luck!

MOST state schools (and schools within the same state) will accept your Associates degree. If you go to Nassau CC, Miami Dade CC, Westchester CC or Maricopa, there is almost NO school in the contry that will have a problem. The key is to GET THE DEGREE!

You probably want to post in immigration, since this seems to be a question about quitting one civilian company and joining a different company in a different nation….
