Google and Yahoo make money by selling advertising space on web pages. For example, both their free e-mail applications have built in readers that scan every word in your e-mail and that is why pop-ups go somewhere on the screen. This is the same as Facebook. Anytime you fill our your likes/interests you can see ads that are very similar. I'm engaged right now, and I have a lot of wedding advertisements on my Facebook pages.
Google and Yahoo scan the content of searches and e-mails and place ads on the site.

Buzz Marketing just refers to getting a bunch of people talking about it so everyone wants it before it's released. Some hit movies use this very well.

It means whatever IP address you're entering is unreachable which means it doesn't exist on your network.
IE will take you to the search page of your default search engine when IE can't find something. It's not Google's fault, it's because whatever you're trying to find isn't there, so either your router isn't hooked up properly or it has a different IP address
