“A polite alternative to the 10-foot pole. Such is the premise behind start-up company, Reality Bling’s, Ms. Taken – a new product based on an age-old concept for single women, offering them a way to protect themselves against unwanted suitors in social situations. Reality Bling engaged Hornall Anderson to develop the strategy, naming, identity and packaging for Ms. Taken’s “diamond ring” – inconspicuously packaged in the hidden compartment of a keychain fob, which serves as a delivery device for easy access when needed. We also designed an elegant, upscale ring box for additional storage that also functions as a POS display.

As an added touch of humor, we developed a series of tongue in cheek “Playaz” trading cards featuring 20 different illustrated characters representing the typical unsavory personalities that single women attempt to avoid. The result is a system of guideposts that packages and messages this product in a way that adds value, connects emotionally, and ultimately builds a community of single divas. It’s a great example of how, through strategic brainstorms, innovative thinking and inspired design, we helped bring this small start-up company’s big ideas into fruition.”

“We developed a concept basically via the hint of an idea meant to target women in their 20s and 30s with a sense of humor. The project included packaging an idea and creating a brand around it to which single women could really relate.”

– Larry Anderson, Creative Director of Hornall Anderson

well if this is fictional stuff then you could say something like
School spirit? You want school spirit? I'll show you school spirit (making it seem like student finds school spirit lame or something)
but if its non fiction you can say
"Students around the world have school spirit and are encouraged to have school spirit by teachers etc. But, how do they really feel about it? "… continue it your way :D

Fictional reality tv version:
what is it with reality television? A bunch of people doing what they do and people earn money? Why is it so popular anyways?

NOn-Fictional realitity television version:
Jerry springer show, Big Brother, Apprentice all these shows are reality television. However, these aren't the only ones. There's many more but how many? Is reality television really that popular? Well ……… " etc :D

You have to understand that multiple sclerosis is a very individual illness so each person will differ in nutritional deficiencies. Sold as nutritional supplement, ENADA, a natural coenzyme, is necessary for cell development and energy production. ENADA was tested by FDA, so it is both safe and effective, and shows promise, but you need to have a personal consultation with a fully trained Health Practitioner.

I'm no expert on the subject, but it seems to me that if you want to become a successful journalist you should first read Marx, and whether you agree with his writings or not, profess a deep appreciation of them. No doubt you'll have stiff competition, so study hard!

I'm sorry, I posted this before I read your full post and realized your age. My above post is a sarcastic post aimed more at the university-age journalist, though it can still be educational for you.

My only advice is to keep politics out of journalism. Unfortunately that may limit your career. I'm personally a libertarian in political philosophy, so my personal choice for a role-model would be John Stossel. He went with the liberal tide until he realized through his own research that their equations didn't add up, and started drawing his own conclusions.

Whatever happens, I wish you a successful career!
