Via Engagdet: “The phone operating system does away with pretty much every scrap of previous mobile efforts from Microsoft, from the look and feel down to the underlying code—everything is brand new.” Video:

Microsoft has officially unveiled its new mobile OS and wiped its slate entirely clean of the oft derided Windows Mobile platform. New code, new name, and a new experience that builds on that of the Zune. It’s great to see Microsoft really do its own thing here and by the looks of it do it well. Looks like we may have three viable smartphone OSes now.

Microsoft’s new UI makes the iPhone‘s actually look out-of-date and it’s fantastic to see so much courage and innovation from them. I would actually be more excited about a tablet with this OS than the iPad. The official video:

Check out the official site, too.

Get a BlackBerry Bold or Curve. They are easy to use and have great features.

Call local roofing suppliers – they will know who does slate work in your area and likely be able to give you a per square price for what they are worth.
Craigslist is OK if you don't mind having someone come over to your house.

Nothing is special about the iPad unless you compare it to an Amazon Kindle!

If you need to use, say, office programs, games and Photoshop (or similar), get a laptop!

Learn as much as possible – 1. not just about your work, but more importantly, 2. how to work WITH people.

Some, even with 25 years' experience, still have no clue how to collaborate, cooperate, encourage, lead, nor work as a team member. Those qualities should be right up there along with something complimentary with the work you want.

If you need an objective, put down, like three levels above your entry-level job, research that type of position very well (takes 2-3 days of phone calls to similar companies), and at the interview, you should be able to impress HR with your knowledge and preparation.

see the back of the PDA, most of PDAs have a reset switch or button. If you couldn't find one, just take out the battery and wait for a min. It will hard reset itself. When you turn it on again, you will have a clean system.

You have to download the zune software. then connect the zune as a guest. then copy the songs onto the computer. thats a lot of stuff to do. I would just get the songs from limewire or somthing.
