blood and saliva can be cultured to determine the type of virus, how quickly that can be done depends on the lab performing the culture. As for information told to the patient, it should be everything since it does pertain to their health. In my opinion nothing should be witheld from a patient regarding information about their illness and course of treatment. As for finding the source, that depends on each individual states policies which determine how many must be infected for the illness to be a problem and involve the state government.

No, unless you ARE the search engine!
SE call upon websites (automatically). What they get is the HTML part, NOT the sources. It is from these texts that they extract information they put in their database.
In other words: they do not read the Php (ASP, JSP etc) sources, but only their outputs.
The NON-HTML sources of any website is NOT accessible to anyone (otherwise, the web would probably collapse within hours)
