oh give me a break..with the constant grandstanding and posturing of the pelosi reid regime on defense bills for political favor, your telling me you would extend the military again??? fat chance. what would you have us do within the realm of feasability. i get you point but would question STRONGLY what if anything could be done.

One of the questions on the application form for a Working Holiday visa is "Have you ever… been charged with any offence that is currently awaiting legal action?" and if he answered Yes, he had to provide full details – if he did so and was granted his visa, he should be OK. If he answered No, then he lied on his application and will be subject to visa cancellation if it shows up in the immigration computers.

Most nurses in Australia believe they are not well compensated, given their work duties and responsibilities. Benefits may include free uniforms and a small laundry allowance, and subsidised meals. Income is around $65,000 per year.

Nonsense. No way Australian racism is superior to Canada's multiculturalism.

Hi there,
The GAMSAT is a test for graduates to be admitted into Australian medical schools (Universities). A link is attached below with info.
It is very competitive. We have a Doctor shortage in this country and an even greater shortage of medical places, due to the Govt's lack of investment in Universities. So, I encourage you to work hard at it, whereever you chose to study. We'd welcome you to Australia, that's for sure.
It is certainly worthwhile to give this a go if you're planning on living and working in Australia. As I said, we have a Doctor shortage here and we could do with as many Doctors as we can get. Obviously if you're studying here we'd want you to be working here also… Even a full-fee paying student in Medical school isn't really any good to us if they don't practice medicine here. That's my view anyway.
All the best with your studies.

Easist way is to buy a Pre-Paid SIM card… Virgin Mobile have some which are specially priced for people who already have their own mobile, so you only have to pay for calls (not for a handset). They can be processed on the spot, and you can have a working number within a couple of hours of activation.
