As most of you know by now, we’re hosting an enormous competition to celebrate the recent launch of CodeCanyon. The $6200 worth of prizes simply wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of our sponsors. Luckily, I can also say that I 100% recommend each and every one of the services/products listed below.

If you have Microsoft Word, all you have to do is do the spelling/grammar check. Or try reading it out loud – you should be able to tell when something doesn't sound right. Everything I corrected is in capitals.

• Discipline is controlled by the card system. It helps to meet targets given by tutors and enableS STUDENTS to gain success DURING THE course. There are three TYPES of cards:

- Yellow Card – issued by tutors iF students are not attending, haven’t been punctual or haven’t MET deadlines.
- Green Card – issued by Student MAnager if any of the YELLOW CARD problem persist.
- Red Card – issued by the Head of Centre who has the authority to suspend and, if necessary, permanently expel students who DO not respond appropriately to the discipline system.

• Private study contracts
They are used for students who are behind with their work and don’t do as well as other students. They will report to the library and BE monitored by the student manager.

• Tutorial observation grades
There are four tutors WHO are monitored and watched by a student manager. This report gave only one of the teachers a positive report because this teacher was THE only ONE available. The report states that this was a very good tutorial.

• ILP Audit
ILPs are interviews which take place between teachers and students. The main purpose of it is to find out how students are performing and how they feel in THE college environment.

• First Interview is held when pupils FROM secondary schools come to the college for the first time. According to Self Assessment Report, 62 interviews where held AND OVER half WERE accepted as they selected the college as there first choice.

• Student survey
The student survey SHOWS how successful tutor groups are. The survey states that over 82% of students find tutor group useful; however, it is not as high as THE college would like to see. Overall they have over 95% satisfaction record WHICH is above the college standard of 94.5%. UCAS had a 96.7% satisfaction record AND this again is above the college statistic of 93%.

• UCAS applicationS are very important for people who want to continue THEIR education. All applications are submitted online through the UCAS website; however, teachers check each application before final submission. The report shows UCAS with errors as a percentage. A return of 63% of applications is totally unacceptable WHICH is why additional training needs to be introduced to improve it in the future.
