24 Feb 2010German objections to Street View date back at least a year and a half, and by all accounts, Google still hasn’t come close to convincing the German government that the program is harmless. Just the same, Google’s announced its intention to move forward with Street View in Germany within the next 10 months.
Google almost seems to have given up on the idea of discussing the matter. The AFP reported this afternoon that Arnd Haller, the head of Google’s legal team in Germany, said, "It is difficult to forbid a company to do something that is legal."
As for what the conflict is about, well, the introduction of face- and license plate-blurring software hasn’t gone nearly far enough for some people’s liking. A Deutsche Welle article explained, "Consumer Affairs Minister Ilse Aigner is demanding that the Internet giant only displays its imagery after each affected German citizen has given his or her permission."
There are pushes to make Google position its Street View cameras lower, too (so that photos can’t be taken over the tops of fences and walls), and perhaps blur whole buildings upon request.
It should be interesting to see what happens next. By moving ahead, Google may be risking a government-backed lawsuit – or even new legislation – and a victory or loss could have a huge effect on how other countries respond to Street View in the future.

Ohh ohh I know this one… The sport is called Parkour, originally named Yamakasi. The referred wikipedia article has the full story. I saw a documentary on the original authors of the sport and the article lines up very closely with what was said in the documentary.
It was featured in the latest James Bond movie, the remake of Casino Royale where the "gun for hire bomb maker" is trying to out run James through the construction site.
Its amazing stuff. I would love to be able to run and jump like they do.

There's still NONE as of now in Google Maps, but I hope there'll be Street Views for Manila in the near future.

Do your flips into a pool, on a trampoline, or on a surface that wont hurt you. Doing a backflip can have some risk on the neck. If not dont right or not on a soft surface it can break your neck, but if you how to do it and your practicing it on a soft surface then your ok. Try starting with the pool cause if you do it into a pool it wont hurt what so ever, then do it in a trampoline cause it might hurt a little if you land on your neck but the injury is no worse then a pinch. You cant do a flip with fear distracting you so you have to give it all you got.
