From interrupting your followers with Kanye, to voicing your displeasure with antiquated web browsers, to protesting DDoS attacks, Twibbons have become ingrained in the Twitter community as a way for users to show their support for a cause with their avatars. Now, the project is celebrating a cool milestone: one million users.
Beyond the quirky Twibbon campaigns we’ve highlighted at Mashable, the site has also been used for plenty of good — we’re told that more than 90,000 people wore pink breast cancer Twibbons on their avatars during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and currently more than 24,000 are showing their support for Haiti. Overall, nearly 30,000 causes can now be supported.
Much like TwitPic, which we recently reported is making several million dollars annually, Twibbon’s one of those simple ideas that’s become a staple of the Twitter ecosystem. Looking to leverage that success, the company is also working on developing a business — brands can now create their own campaigns using the service.
This blog delivers stylish and dynamic news for designers and web-developers on all subjects of design, ranging from: CSS, Ajax, Javascript, web design, graphics, typography, advertising & much more. Our goal is to help you communicate effectively on the web with an engaging website or functional interface.

It can be done on MS Paint, but the steps are rather convoluted plus it depends on version. If it's a GIF image , you can use the following site's online tools and do it in a few minutes or less.
(Animation: GIF format only)
Remember that png and gif formats support transparency. The following works a lot better than MS Paint:

Hi,
Someone else asked about this the other day.
Assuming you want software to protect yourself from DoS attacks, then nowadays any decent firewall would achieve this.
If on the other hand, you are searching for software so you can perform a DoS or Smurf attack, then I'd ask why? You do not need any special software because the most basic attack uses Windows PING with the /FLOOD tag.
Now you can use this legitamately to test your own server, but if you chose to use this to case harm to someone else you ought to be aware this is frowned upon and usually results in the closure of your Internet Account with whichever ISP you happen to connect with.

DDoS attack bring down websites. If a website is down, people can't use it. If people can't use it, no one is going to buy anything. If no one buys anything, the company won't make any money. Also you have things like bandwidth bills which would need to be covered, and with DDoS attacks these can skyrocket.

It depends on many things. It does cause a strain on the family but everybody has to lean on each other. If her mother does have cancer, she needs to keep in mind that people beat cancer all the time and her mother can too. Chemo sounds terrible but they can treat a lot of the problems associated with it nowadays, such as nausea. Another thing is that if her mother does receive chemo, her hair will fall out, she won't look like she feels well, and she'll probably feel run down. The important thing to remember is it's the medicine that is doing that, not the cancer. She'll return to normal after treatment.
Talk to your friend and try to help her keep some sort of normalcy in life. Don't ask her about her mother's health all the time because spending time with her friends may be the only relief from the scary situation she is going thru at home.
