Firebug 1.5: New Features and ready for Firefox 3.6

In: web resources

20 Jan 2010

Nice work Firebug team for announcing Firebug 1.5, a great release that fixes many bugs and adds great features:

  • Mike Radcliffe’s Inspector. A key feature, now solid as a rock,
  • Jan ‘Honza’ Odvarko’s expanded and refined Net panel, with accurate timings,
  • Steve Roussey’s reworking of HTML editing and entity support,
  • Kevin Decker’s CSS and Style side panel improvements,
  • Support for dynamic, graphical breakpoints through out Firebug.
  • Tested support for the soon-to-be-released Firefox 3.6

This is a big deal. The release is out *before* Firefox 3.6. No more “oh man we have a new Firefox but it doesn’t work with Firebug argh”. Awesome.

Because the publishers know that fans will often buy the 30 dollar HC, instead of waiting a year for the 8 dollar PB

It completely depends on what your "need" is assessed to be. However in Missouri I know most people get like 1500/semester awarded 'on average'/.

You count back three months and then forward seven days to get an EDD or estimated due date. In this case, the estimated due date would be Nov. 3, 2007

Most likely your computer is infected with a virus or worm. This is happening to a lot of people and one of the symptoms that something is wrong is yahoo messenger closing when you try to Sign in and also I have read some people get that breakpoint error message as well. Uninstalling Yahoo Messenger will not fix the problem since the problem remains on your computer. You need to run antivirus and spyware scans. Ones that are up to date. Be sure to also scan any external hard drive, flash drive, USB storage device that you use as well. I have even heard that iPods can be infected so be sure to scan those too.
——————————–
You should definitely have Anti-virus protection at all times. One that is up to date and able to receive virus definitions every day. One of the best commercial versions is Nod32. If you cannot afford a commercial version than I recommend AVG free antivirus 8.0. You should have only one antivirus program installed on your computer. Because antivirus programs have real time protection more than one can cause conflicts and not work as well. And you must have one to protect your computer at all times. You can safely use online virus scanners to supplement your main antivirus program; in fact it is a must if you are using a free antivirus program since they are not by themselves as effective as the top rated commercial antivirus programs. Here is a link for some free online scanners:

But antivirus protection is not enough. You also need antispyware program that has real time protection. One of the top rated commercial ones is Webroot Spy Sweeper. There are free spyware scanners available but none of them will match the protection of the top rated commercial ones but you can use a combination of free ones to increase the detection ability. Windows Defender is a free one that is recommended due to it having real time protection unlike most free ones. You can supplement it with Spy Bot Search & Destroy and Ad-Aware 2007 Free. Neither of those has full real time protection and is best used as supplemental On-Demand scanners. You can find free antivirus and antispyware programs on this link if you cannot afford commercial ones.

Scanners are useless if you do not keep them up to date with the latest definitions. On the same link above you can look into free trojan scanners too. The best commercial one is Trojan Hunter.

It is worth investing in top rated commercial antivirus and spyware protection if you can afford it. Some originally only antivirus programs are now combining antispyware protection as well so do the research.

You will certainly get some fantastic tips, hints, support and recipes from some lovely, kind, generous and knowledgeable people on the raw forums……….

BUT………. you will also come across some absolutely seriously fanatical raw vegans, who can be completely pompously overbearing know-it-all wankers.

Go at your own pace and don’t get intimidated by the fanatical sector and you will be fine.

Also for extra support, try to find a raw vegan potluck group in your local area.
