31 Jul 2010Desktop wallpapers can serve as an excellent source of inspiration. However, if you use some specific wallpaper for a long period of time, it becomes harder to draw inspiration out of it. That’s why we have decided to supply you with smashing wallpapers over 12 months. And to make them a little bit more distinctive from the usual crowd, we’ve decided to embed calendars for the upcoming month. So if you need to look up some date, isn’t it better to show off a nice wallpaper with a nice calendar instead of launching some default time application?
This post features 50 free desktop wallpapers, created by designers across the globe. Both versions with a calendar and without a calendar can be downloaded for free.
Please notice:
So what wallpapers have we received for August 2010?

Alienware is way over rated, also if your not a dell person you won't like alienware as dell now own alienware. For about $1100, not sure for your currency, you can get this laptop from Gateway, which i have and it has played all my games fine,
2.26ghz intel core 2 duo
4 gb ddr3 ram
320gb 7200rpm hdd
17" Widescreen monitor
Nvidia Geforce 9800M GTS with 1gb ddr3 dedicated video memory.
It's the gateway fx p-7805u, if you read about it you hear of some overheat problems due to the gpu, but if you get a cooling pad, like i have, you can run fine, also the gpu is known to run hotter, I found out on a website, that overclockers had theirs running at 60-70C and mine runs at tops 40c not overclocked so no worries there.
