Studio monitors are designed for music creation. The frequecy response is designed NOT to accentuate any frequency. where as consumer audio stuff is designed to accentuate more bass or hig trebles or what have you… make the sound more "colourful"

for contrast a hometheatre subs are designed TO accentuate low frequencies. thats the listers goal usually!

of course this is all just what ive read about who could say for sure until you actually physically hear the speakers compared to other speakers …but the idea of studio monitors is to afftect the music as little as possible.

This will depend on your laptop, I have a sony laptop and it actually has a switch on the side of it to turn on the WIRELESS feature. I sometimes bump it and it cannot connect. Make sure your wireless is turned on. There also should be software that will search for the wireless network to get on. Check to see if there is a wireless switch.
