NASA and NOAA should have information on this. Nature magazine as well.
There's currently some debate over models used by the IPCC, but NASA and NOAA information was done independent of that organization (and the models still agree). Mann did a paper that was published in Nature, and shows a sharp rise recently. You might also Google geology experiments that were done up in Alaska regarding glaciation and lichen, can't remember the geologists name but is findings were good and the rock record does not lie and is not subject to modeling like atmospheric data is, Ohio State I think. It's a developing science, but could be refined by taking into account oceanic temperatures.
