No.

There's a "nofollow" instruction for searchengines.

To check (any site) go to the page with the link, right click and view source. Search for "nofollow".

Backlinks will be updated based on how frequently existing sites and new websites that link to you are crawled and indexed. This could be less than 1 minute for some giant news sites. For other sites this could take 90 days.

Page Rank is internal to Google and is probably updated at a similar cadence to your backlinks. Be careful because PR is only one determinant of your rank among 200 other variables.

Other then the around the world ticket have not heard of this. You can get one for the train or buses but as far as I know not planes.
