Board800 is an interactive multi-user whiteboard application which uses Red5 as the back-end media server, and flash (.swf) as the client front-end. Use it for tutoring, collaborative live training, brainstorming, prototyping, etc. Also use it as an online replacement of your paintbrush application.

Do-able but v.v.v.v.v.expensive

Standard ADSL broadband = approx 400Kb upload speed

You would need a "leased line" business connection
(uncontended and synchronous i.e., not shared with any other buildings and the same upload speed as download speed)

Do NOT associate standard broadband with leased line internet connections they are COMPLETELY different

Just as a rough guide, a 10 Mb leased line circuit (10 Meg in both directions) delivered over fibre would cost approx £700-£1000 per month so needless to say how much a 200 Mb would cost. (Some charge for install too which can be costly if there is no fibre already in place to your building)

Plus you have to consider what network card is in your server, i.e. how fast can your network card output data. You would need a 1Gbps network card on your server as a 100 Mbps one would only be able to deliver 1Mbps speeds to a max of 100 connected devices.

There are data centres set up that rent out server space for applications such as this where you can't stretch to the required bandwidths yourself. You can rent server space from them to do what you want without having to pay for the above.

You will have to do this via javascript. You can have your flash actionscript call javascript functions on the HTML page. Then through that you can easily set the text of a textbox using javascript DOM functionality.

The following message board talks a bit about it and provides some code that shows you some actionscript / javascript action. This should give you an idea of how you can merge the two to produce your desired result.

Good luck

You can use iwisoft swf to video converter to change your swf files to video compatible with mobile devices, like 3gp video for mobile phone and so on. I always use this program and it has always worked excellent. good luck

I think media center and a media server are two different things. The xbox recognizes the media center from your computer because it has that functionality built in but the ps3 doesn't. For the ps3 you will to need download a separate media server application and then the ps3 should be able to see that.

I think you can just use the newest version of windows media player. You may have to be running XP media center edition as your operating system unless they changed it.
