ummm kinda simple math. next time you fill up the car wait until the tank is all the way empty. when filling look at the pump and see how much gas was put in measurement wise. then set your trip odometer, run the car all the way to nearly empty again, then divide the mileage by how much gas was put in. voila! gas mileage whether it be mpg or lpg or whatever the measurement is whereever you come from.

Cold air can carry more oxygen per unit volume than warm air. Your computer measures the amount of air going into the car to decide how much gas to inject. Some cars measure the oxygen in the exhaust with an oxygen sensor and some cars measure the oxygen entering at the intake.

"Exceeds mechanical limits" refers to a non digital odometer that has gone beyond 100,000 miles and went back to zero. If yours is digital and isn't working, the correct thing to check would be "The odometer reading is NOT the actual mileage." Ask at the DMV when you change the title over.

You would need a Hybrid car, the Toyota Prius is rated the best Hybrid car – they started making the car in 2001 and continue to make the car. The gas maileage is 60 MPG in the city and 51 MPG highway. A brand new Toyota Prius costs around 20 thousand or so.
