27 Dec 2009On Christmas day of 2009, Pingdom, a service that will monitor the uptime and response time of your websites and servers, and alert you of any downtime, gave out twenty 1-year subscription to their Basic Plan service (valued at close to $120 each).
Close to a hundred readers participated, and today, we’re announcing the 20 winners.
The winners are listed below. Winners were selected at random using the MySQL randomizing query used in previous Six Revisions giveaways.
If you’re a winner, you should have already received an email with instructions on how to obtain your 1-year subscription Pingdom. Congratulations!
If you didn’t win this time, don’t worry, there are other giveaways in store for Six Revisions readers. The best way to make sure you don’t miss any giveaway posts is to subscribe to the Six Revisions RSS feed.
Pingdom is an important tool to anyone that runs a website. It will alert you whenever your site is experiencing offline issues. Alerts can be sent out via email, SMS, Twitter and even as iPhone push notifications. Pingdom has a free iPhone app for iPhone users.
There are also plenty of reports available to let you view your uptime and response time history, track down errors with Pingdom’s automatic error analysis that is performed for every downtime, and much more.
Monitoring is done from multiple locations on the Internet. No installation is necessary; everything is set up easily from within Pingdom’s online control panel, where you can also access all your reports, set up contacts for alerts, and other useful functionality. Learn more about Pingdom on their site.

I rivet for a living, but there is a problem with what you want to do.
Riveting swells and clamps the pieces together.
The pic you have shows articulating sections that need to move.
A better alternative would be to use hardware know as "screw posts" or "Chicago screws":
These are available in different lengths, and finishes.
Use a drop of loctite (from auto parts house) on the threads, screw them together. They'll allow the connected pieces to move (instead of a hole, use a slot, to allow the pieces to articulate).

I have worked with Network Management Tools for many years and never really liked majority of them such as HP Openview, NetCool, SiteScope, and more due it's complexity.
The one product that I do like because it's professional and bring simplicity is Manage Engine's OpManager 7. This is what I have deployed for many of our customers around 250 users to large Enterprise companies around 9,000 users.
Here is the link:
There is also a demo on the site.

I would really like to see Cung Le v. Anderson Silva. It would be a phenomenal striking match-up. Unfortunately, I think we'll see Le fight a couple more times in Strikeforce.
My other favorite scenario would be a fight between the winner of Rashad Evans and Forrest Griffin. I think Anderson would show us some serious skills in that potential fight.
But, more likely it will be St. Pierre if he wins, Thales Lietes, or Okami if he wins tonight.

Hello!
I have had 2 hamsters, and by my experience, you should spend at least 1 hour with him each day.
What your doing is really good!
But if he seemd lonely when you look at him, you should play with him, or give him a hamster treat!
Like a carrot, or some lettuce!
But if he looks sad all the time, think about getting him some new toys!
Or maybe a hamster buddy!
If you get hima new friend, make sure the kind of hamster you got for him, get along with the other type of hamster!
It's best to get the same kinds of hamsters!
I have to go, but i sure hope i helped you!
