It would have been good if you had gotten to know your professors a bit – gone to office hours, asked them for help or advice, even done some research with one of them (especially since you now want to get a research degree). That's what most people heading to grad school do, and that's why they have good letters of recommendation. Your best bet now is to find one that remembers you, but a letter saying 'she got an A in my class' isn't going to help you too much.

oil heaters use electricity, so there goes that option. there are propane heaters but those require a lot of gas. i would say your next best bet, albeit not the cheapest would be a back-up generator.

If your views slant toward a more
liberal view you wouldn't want to support that view with a conservative
slant. Just read the content and decide
if the content supports liberal,
conservative or middle views.
