		<description>Yeah undergravel filters arent very good at all.  I wouldnt really reccomend them for nearly any setup as they are a hassle to clean.

You actually can use a power filter but it has to be one that allows you to regulate the flow, same thing with overhead filters, as long as you can set the flow to something gentle you can use it for your betta.</description>
