From what you have described, olive or khaki green would blend in nicely, as could certain shades of medium grey-blue. Good luck!

If you are doing an ultra sound see if they will give you a pic of baby. Make copies and put them in sex appropriate colour frames i.e. pink for girl and blue for boy and see if anyone catches on.
