10 May 2010Internet marketing broke all the rules of conventional marketing and created unprecedented opportunities for millions to make millions. I strongly believe that you and I deserve to be one of them! How? There are endless ways to grab your nifty share of the scrumptious internet marketing pie, some of which are more intelligent than others. One thing all e-marketing gurus agree on is that blog marketing is a no-fail strategy, if done correctly. Today, I will share with you why I strongly believe that guest posting in other people’s well-established blogs is far much smarter than personal blogging. Enjoy!
Think about it: guest writing spares you the headache of constantly posting fresh content in your blog/site to build up your own readers and traffic. Instead, you can easily plug in and immediately profit from the high traffic and trust that other blogs already enjoy. I love the idea of leveraging on other people’s success rather than reinventing the wheel and starting from scratch! The best part of it all is that guest posting is very ethical and in fact welcomed by blog owners as I will explain in a later section of the article.
Posting in different blogs with different readers will greatly speed-up your quest to share your insights with the world and put your name out there.
Whether you are an e-marketing newbie or pro, you certainly understand that the secret to successful blog marketing is frequent posting. Some believe that one post per day is the bare minimum a serious blog marketer MUST stick to. So, when you jump in and offer to post QUALITY content in others blogs, they will welcome you with open arms as you would be lifting a heavy burden of their chest. In fact, some of them offer monetary compensation in return for guest posting. Sweet!
Guest posting will open endless doors for you to network with other like-minded people and get in touch with some great people in your area of expertise.
In the process, you’re sure to receive a lot of feedback and comments from your adoring fans out there. Usually, those comments are filled with tips, experiences and other remarks that will certainly help you further improve and level your game.
Don’t get too carried away by guest posting that you forget you own blog/site. Once you entice other blogs readers with your quality posts, they will certainly check your own site. So, grab the opportunity and give them a good reason to stick around by offering equally excellent content that is NOT a repetition of your guest posts.
Long tail marketing means targeting many niches simultaneously, they could be thousands in some cases. You will make few sales per niche but your overall profit will be huge. That’s why, smart long tail marketers guest post at different blogs targeting their different niches. Carefully choosing well-established high-traffic blogs and guest posting in them translates into getting small quality traffic to their different websites years after their post is published. Isn’t that what tail marketing is all about? Compare this clever approach to just posting in your own personal blog. The pros of the first option certainly outweighs the second one. Don’t you agree?! I can’t wait to read your comments.
To sum up, I did mention the word well-established as a key feature in the blogs you choose to guest post in. What if you are not SEO savvy, how can you tell if a blog really receives quality traffic? Also, after you decide which blog(s) to guest post in, how can you approach the blog owners intelligently and win their approval of your guest posting proposal? All these burning questions and more will be answered in my upcoming article “Let’s Get Started”. So, Stay tuned for it.

I saw soulja boy interviewed on the VIEW. He said he got started on YouTube , Myspace, and Facebook. He made his money from selling ringtones and music on iTunes. You might search for the interview so you can watch it yourself.
I myself no nothing of the subject but I figured I would pass this along.
