Purchase, Investment Favor Game Devs

A couple of significant shifts took place in the game developer community this week.  Big Six, which deals in social games, was acquired by Hi5 Networks, and Warner Bros. bought a majority stake in Rocksteady Studios, the maker of the latest Batman game.

Unfortunately, some other important details – including the amounts of money that changed hands – weren’t disclosed.  So it’s hard to say just how much these developers were in demand.

Still, the fact that both of these big moves came in a single week appears to point to a trend, and hopefully developers in many other places will benefit from it.

Then here’s one other encouraging note: both Rocksteady Studios and Big Six are young organizations, having been founded in 2004 and 2003, respectively.

Long ago Penguins and Humans fought a war for the galaxy and after a thousand years of war with trillions dead humans did the unthinkable in a last desperate act – humans denied their enemy victory as remaining human forces fell back to earth and razed all their worlds using nukes and biochemical weapons and orbital bombardment. Humans won the P-Day Invasion only to fight a desperate battle against overwhelming odds. Only one inhabitable planet remains for humans – Earth, which the penguins now have a foothold on. We are now in a corner some say we put ourselves in.

The penguins, however, are not dicks. They have studied other "galactic wars" and their research led them to one decision… they must hone their skills with the Light Saber in order to achieve their ultimate goal of victory over the human race, and eventually enslave us in their sanity vault. Only then shall they show us the true force of their stubby little hands.

Chavez is just as bad as Bin Laden, if not worse. He is vehemently anti-American and his country is another country that we get our oil from that despises us. This act is showing that. Our country needs to get off its fanny and start coming up with new ways to power our vehicles and make our electricity. If we don't we are going to be at the mercy of these people. Our government definitely dropped the ball in this arena, but what are you going to do, big oil has lobbyists that are willing to spend millions on their interests. They care only about their huge profits and not about the country that is giving them billions so that they can have those huge profits.

Because Obama was recruited and groomed for service by the financial oligarchy. He was picked because of the possibilities for deception that his identity presented. The PTB knew that given his 'race' he could pose credibly as a champion for the downtrodden and the accessibility of the "American Dream."

The PTB knew his racial, identity deception and phoney call-and-response black political rhetoric would carry him a long way–to the point that he could do their bidding easily. Thus, they invested a few million in tailoring and foisting him on the public with guarantees of windfall returns, especially knowing as they did that their speculative ventures for easy profit making would soon come crashing down.

Notice that Obama didn't miss a beat when Bush announced the crash. Obama followed Bush in lock-step to declare his bailout approach the right one. He had been apprised of this eventuality long in advance.

His support of the bailout is the key to understanding this whole Obama phenomenon. It seemed like an extraneous fact to his election, but it was a central part of it. Without his having given his assent to this financial backing of the financial oligarchy, he would have been run out of town long before. But he was their black Manchurian candidate.

The PTB knew they'd need a massive revenue source to recuperate their vast unrecoverable investments. The federal treasury was the only likely source given the ability of the US to borrow almost without limit on the international stage, especially from China.

Already, the financial oligarchy has seen returns of at least 1,000 to 1 dollars of investment. Few suspected that a black man could be used to transfer the futures of the federal treasury into private hands in unprecedented amounts.

Obama is Bush 3, something that Obamabots will have a very hard time swallowing. But swallow it they must. Otherwise, they remain deluded.

Notice how Obama did not demand ANY concessions from the financial class, but demanded that workers' wages be halved, their benefits cut, their health care pensions converted into worthless stock? What does that tell you about his support.

Advice: Don't talk back or chat with Obamabots in your questions. They travel in robotic packs, bait you into "chatting," and then report you. It's their wont. They are group think nano-robots, like those in that attacked the underworld people in the Matrix.

The other thing that Obambots cannot understand is that his opponents are not all Republicans, but rather people of many persuasions–people who see through the rhetoric and pay attention to his ACTIONS–all of which are opposed to their best interests.

This is my theory.

When the monorail exploded at the bottom of Wayne Tower (in Batman Begins), it would have caused significant damage. Wayne probably used it as an excuse to renovate it. This can also tell how Fox gets a private elevator in his office.

I'd write to Lionhead and ask Peter Molyneux, creator of Fable. He's a whore for interviews.

I play World of Warcraft just about everyday. Although I use to play for hours at a time, I have learned to control the amount of time I spend on it. Some days I don't play. It would be the same with any online game. If a person does not allow the game to control their life, there is usually no social problem associated with it. Many young people become overly engrossed in online games, with the result being that they allow it to take over their lives. They begin to neglect everything around them including their family, school work, friends, etc. Before that happens, it is the responsibility of their parent(s) to intervene. Obsessing over anything can have a great impact on one's social life and the ability to interact with other people. Even though there is a lot of socializing on the game, it is not the same as real life. But just as in real life, there is the possibility of being with the wrong crowd.

Whose money is this?

Yours? Non issue as you would have been reporting the bank account(s) every year on the form TD F 90-22.1.

A gift from mom and dad? Non-issue. You file an IRS form 3520.

PS "It's someone who sold a property there back in may and " –if that someone is a us person (either US citizen or resident alien for tax purposes), then they a) have to report the sale on their US tax return (use form 1116 for a tax credit on taxes already paid) and report the bank account to the treasury department next June.
