Oneforty Launches Twitter App Market, Raises Money

Twitter developers effectively received two pieces of good news originating from one company today.  Oneforty launched an app marketplace, and as it happens, also raised $1.9 million in funding.

The funding round proves that rich and smart people are very interested in Twitter apps.  So even if you’d have rather seen all or some of the $1.9 million head towards your pocket, the development’s a good sign for the future of the market.

As for the marketplace, well, this is another way for you to make money.  Leena Rao wrote, “[D]evelopers can integrate with oneforty’s e-commerce tools to sell apps directly through the site. . . .  Apps for sale will be featured prominently on oneforty’s home page, allowing developers greater visibility if they are participating in the marketplace.”

Just be warned the Oneforty does expect a share of each sale.

They want to make sure that you'll be able to pay for and successfully complete the program and have enough money to live on. They'll want to know if you'll be working, how much money are you personally contributing, how much your employer is contributing, how much is coming from grants or scholarships, that sort of thing. The best course of action is to ask them exactly what information they're interested in. Most schools have a form that can be filled in for this statement.

Depends on who you set up the IRA with. If you set it up with a stock brokerage firm, you can set it up with as many mutual funds as you like. If you set it up with a mutual fund you may only be able to use their family of funds. Which may be pretty substantial.

All the answers are good but left out one important thing- buy a pump with a built in pressure gauge. It's important to use the right pressure and you need a gauge to do that. In US, <$20.
