Every owner of a design business knows that they should have a quality web presence so as to maximize the potential of their business. However for the newbie designer who is still starting, choosing a hosting service for a website may be just as confusing.
Common web hosting mistakes should be avoided whenever you are looking for a web site host for your design business. This may be able to assist in ensuring the website’s success of your company.
That is what most of the owners of businesses do, unfortunately. After all, you may want to spend little in the most possible way. However, bear in mind always that your website is important for your business and that goes the same with your important machinery or equipment. This also deserves the same consideration before you purchase. Ensure to look after your finances and select a practical budget for your marketing that is related to the internet with your website included. The provider for the hosting of your website that gives off poor service, no matter what you pay, will really cost you money for the lost sales.
Your website is one of the most significant business representations so you need your website to function properly, look good and always be there and be ready for your customers. The hosting of the website doesn’t have to be expensive so it is best to ensure you have the much needed features from a hosting service of a website before results are considered.
You should have drawn up a basic layout, know the features that you prefer, and have a written content prepared already before you look for a provider. Be careful of the free, well known or super low-cost providers. The service of your website will definitely not soar as it will experience slow loading delays and times because of the overloaded server. As an alternative, select a host for a website that will guarantee the server’s performance.
Determine which of the features you like to be seen on the website of your design business—whether you need a blog, streaming audio, shopping cart, video or a catalog feature. Check if you need an auto responder to be able to have the acknowledgment of the emails of your customer until you obtain one yourself. Check also if you are required to send out newsletters on a monthly basis. There are many hosting providers for your website that offers help on placement on search engines for the businesses and assist in marketing your business and be able to track your traffic too. But it is really important to make sure that all your needs are taken care of.
As soon as you determine what you will include on your website and your required service level, you will be much ready to contact the hosting provider for the website of your design business.

Well if you need something simple just use sleep().
You know you actually made yourself more suspect by mentioning "non malicious program".
There is nothing malicious in delays.

That happens to me too sometimes. I guess it happens when it loads slow. Or maybe when your internet connection is running slow. I guess it's either one of them.

Wow. The first time through, my only comment was that "happy holidays" may want to be removed since it will likely be past New Year's before someone reads this.
There are several minor details you will want to review though.
*The colon after Admissions in the first line should be a comma.
*In the second paragraph of the body you refer to your talent of web development and singing. Unless you do not consider singing to be a talent, you should probably add an s. Also, you mention your baritone skills later in the letter. Leaving it out at the beginning tells me your singing is significantly better than your brass skills. If that's not so, you should consider changing "singing".
*I believe the title of your website should be in italics, not quotations, though I understand that is probably due to lack of formatting options here.
*While CD is by far more common, I know of some in the academic world who cringe at every abbreviation in formal writing. Compact disc is much safer. (That goes for the DHTML later as well).
*Paragraph three should read "sat in on a class" instead of "sat in a class", unless you're saying you took the class that year and then repeated it in 9th grade.
*Paragraph four: "out of over thousands of web sites". Also, "Nixon's Visit to China" should be "Nixon's visit to China". Your sentence is describing the website, not giving the title again.
*Same paragraph, second sentance: "historical" is redundant and implies that your project was of historical significance.
*p4, s3: is "Cascading Style Sheets" a proper name or capitalized because the abbreviation is? (i.e. CD is compact disc, not Compact Disc.)
*p4, s4: Comma between site and including.
*p5: I see where your project with help with the Sino-American awareness, but how does it further improve Harvard's presence in the online community?
*p6: Mark Z. attended Harvard with the class of 2006, he didn't attend the class itself.
*p7: "not only are billions of dollars are" and "I hope promote understanding of"
*paragraph on music: is Families with Children from China a group that has an annual picnic, or should it be Families with Children from China Annual Picnic?
*next paragraph: Arts Task Force Report or Arts Task Force report? If it's a specific document, you're fine. If it's a generic report from the group, you're not.
Good luck getting into Harvard. It sounds like you'd be a great contribution to their school!
