Photoshop resources are one of the most important parts of the designer library. Photoshop resources help design to create designs faster and get inspired with new ideas that can be done with these resources. I was trying to search for Photoshop texture and got saw these amazing old paper Photoshop textures.

The old paper Photoshop textures can be  created either through Photoshop effects, or through scanning real old paper. Although it is not easy to find an old paper that gives the texture you like, but it gives a much better impression than most of the created with Photoshop effects only. In addition to these methods, I would like to share with you some useful Photoshop paper texture that will enrich your graphic library.

you might have to take it down or try a mix of paint thinner with a bit of water in it hope it works for you …

I have never heard of anything not water soluble. The strongest is ready mixed heavy duty paste which is white and looks like a mix of paster and PVA.

Papering a ceiling in a bathroom is a bit optimistic. It may have been better to get a plasterer to skim the ceiling.

So there is nothing specified for your problem, but you could have a go with ideas, wood glue?
