Magento Becomes More Popular Than osCommerce

In: magento

For about a year ago we’ve been exited by how fast Magento was growing and how many people were looking for Magento online.

To make a long story short, last March we’ve used Google Trends to compare what open source shopping carts were the most popular with net surfers. It turned out that Magento was getting more and more searches while osCommerce, Zen Cart and CRE Loaded have been enjoying the same level of success or even losing their power.

A year has passed from the day of our research, so let’s see if something has changed since then.

Wow, the results are shocking! Magento continues its growth and osCommerce gets fewer searches every months.

Does it mean Magento becomes even more popular than osCommerce? It seems so.

Does it mean you should take a closer look at Magento if you haven’t done it before? Yes, definitely!

Yeah because you want someone who is bi-polar, alcoholic, or any of the many other problems those peopel have, working next to you huh?

You have the typical right-wing skewed view of reality.

Some of them do work, and some of them have already worked all their lives.
Low income housing isn't just for the unemployed.

My 3 most favorite websites are search engines.
I have 3 search engine one is google (most popular) another is yahoo ( I use it more for news & email) and my third is Bing, it was upgraded from Microsoft Live. The web site is: . Bing also searches different than google (each have their own advantages and disadvantages).
I heard there is a possibility that Yahoo is going to eventually merge with Microsoft Bing, might be called MicroHoo.
Use Bing for travel, local business info, shopping, health, etc.
