20 Mar 2010Ahead of Sprint acting to officially announce the 4G HTC Supersonic next week (we initially thought the Sprint HTC Supersonic would launch this week) its reassuring to see that the WiMax HTC Supersonic has gained an inventory listing with Sprint, thanks to an ‘indirect dealer’ having found its listing under the guise of the HTC A9292 WiMax Bar Phone.

Of course, what with Sprint set to launch the WiMax Supersonic in only a matter of days its not exactly surprising to see the phone listed in Sprint’s inventory already but it does serve as absolute confirmation that an announcement is indeed pending.
For those unfamiliar with the Sprint HTC Supersonic (or the Supersonic in general) – can there possibly be anyone who isn’t already fully versed with what this handset brings to the table? – we can advise that the Supersonic, which is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and which runs Android (2.1?), comes with a 4.3” 65K color 480 x 800 resolution OLED display, a 5 megapixel camera with dual LED flash whilst, in terms of memory, you’re looking at a healthy 512MG of RAM and 1GB of flash storage (the Supersonic also packs 1024MB of ROM).

Obviously, at this juncture, specific details concerning the Sprint HTC Supersonic are in pretty short supply so we cannot advise of pricing yet but you can rest assured that the moment Sprint spill the beans we’ll be looking to get you updated and ‘in the know’ asap.

Depends on what your level of interest is in technology/gadgets?
Do you just like to use them, or do you want to design them or do you want promote them?
If you want to design the physical hardware, then I'd suggest a BSEE (electrical engineering), if you want to work on the software side then I'd suggest Computer Science (BSCS).
If you want to promote/sell then a business degree. With the business degree you could end up doing any number of things involving technology without actually designing it.
To be competitive in todays high tech market it's good if you could have both a BS in EE or CS and an MBA – that you get later. You can minor in business while getting the engineering degree. Being a "sales engineer" is a good gig, you get to play with the technology and it pays very well if you get in with the right company (Microsoft or Cisco being examples of the right company).

Why would you not like the Nexus One interface and like the Hero? They are basically the same thing but the Nexus has the newer version of Android and has a bigger screen. If you want a different form factor, look at the Motorola Droid.

I live in Japan, and no, Japanese people don't have robots in their houses. We do have cool toilets that automatically raise and lower the seat and wash your butt when you want though. We also have cell phones that have so many functions it's just stupid. I can listen to MP3's, pay money at a store, play video games, take photos, record movies, go on the Internet, work out where I am with GPS and video conference with people….I'm sure it does more as well but I really can't be bothered reading the instructions (which are a large books worth.)

i have alltel wireless internet (got it like 2 days ago), thinks its like a 3g network…but i only get 3bars outta 4, like 80% signal strenght it says…also i live out in the country also…hardly any good services out here…
maybe if your connection gets a full reception, it MIGHT do…i went to speedTest.net and test..was getting 2-3 bars then…70-80%connection didnt even get 1mb down, and 200k upload….but if you get good reception, (i assume 4g is better then 3g) on your connection, on speedtest.net there also a link to pingtest.net (you should see it, its new feature i guess)….its grades your internet connection, to see if its good for online gaming, a ping test, latency test (w/e latency is..me Idk)
try it out pretty cool, anyways i tried it, mine failed…graded me an "F" the first time
second time i tried, it graded me a "C" but my signal goes up and down…so you should put it in a place with good reception
i remember when i had the first xbox, i had a 256k DSL ISP, played xbox live on the first xbox and didn't hardly get no problems (probably because mostly other players had a better connection then me)
hope this helps, because i really wanted to play my xbox live, when i got alltel wireless internet, but im dissapointed with the service, 59.99 a month!..though it would be good…
