Update: We now have better pictures of the three Windows Phone 7 smartphones revealed so far. Can you guess which one is which? (Picture after the break!)

We were waiting anxiously for Microsoft MIX to arrive already as we foolishly hoped that some hot new Windows Phone 7 handsets will be unveiled. Of course we knew since MWC 2010 who will make these phones this year: HTC, Samsung, LG, Asus and maybe Motorola. And we also knew who wasn’t going to make Windows Phone 7 in both the immediate and very distant future: RIM, Apple, Nokia, Palm and Google.

We were surprised to actually see Windows Phone 7 prototypes at MIX today as most smartphones running Microsoft latest mobile platform will only be revealed later this fall. But we weren’t surprised to see who actually made them.

So naturally the first phone we are going to talk about is one made by Samsung. I say naturally because the company has the strange habit of wanting to always launch the “world’s first” smartphone that has certain specific features. Can’t wait to see the world’s first Samsung handset that also doubles as a washing machine and then the world’s first Android version of it but I actually have another point I want to make.

The Samsung phone doesn’t have a name yet but it runs Redmond’s amazingly fresh new OS. It is said to come with an OLED screed, at least 256MB of RAM, 8GB of flash and DirectX9 acceleration. It also happens to be the better looking of the three Windows Phone 7-running handsets shown at MIX. I really hope that Samsung doesn’t solely want to offer us the first Windows Phone 7 but to also make a hit phone capable to take on the competition. And I don’t mean a bada phone, at least not for now.

Then we have an Asus handset shown by Microsoft officials and this one looked pretty much like the handset in the official Windows Phone 7 press photos. In terms of good-lookliness Samsung’s prototype looks definitely better.

Last but not least we have the LG handset which we’ve seen already. I did say it’s not the Panther because nobody confirmed yet that it is actually the Panther. In all fairness this is the world’s first Windows Phone 7 handset we’ve seen being officially presentend by a Microsoft representative right after MWC. Not that this actually means anything until LG makes an official announcement. And unfortunately the LG had no battery so we can’t compare it with the other two yet.

So what do you say folks? Are you already amazed by Windows Phone 7? iPhone who?

WMM cannot use 3GP files. You can use either AVS Video Converter or search for another free video converter program or a free 3GP converting program.

Just google it and you should find some.

Hope this helps.

I think it is a disgrace and shows a total lack of human compassion for that man's last moments.
