19 Mar 2010If you’re looking to transfer funds using PayPal whilst out and about you may be interested in the new iteration of the PayPal iPhone App V2.0 which, apart from offering a swanky new interface, comes with a new Bump feature that allows you to transfer information required to send payments to others (such as email addresses) simply by bumping two devices together.

The new, redesigned version of the PayPal iPhone App, which is already available via iTunes, aside from sporting its new Bump feature, and, aside from allowing you to withdraw funds and request monies using your PayPal account (as well as set up payment reminders), also comes with a tool know as Split the Check which will prove handy when trying to divide the bill when, say, at a restaurant as its automatically calculate what exactly each of you owes towards the bill. Of course, there’s already applications available that’ll already do this, but its nice to see this feature included in the PayPal App.

There’s also a Collect Money feature that’ll allow you to request and collect money from multiple people – handy if, say, a group of you are pooling resources for a gift for a friend of family member.
The PayPal iPhone App is available now from iTunes, as mentioned above, and it won’t cost you a dime.

We're big fans of money belts. You could try wearing it in the back instead of the front….. as long as it's all tucked in under your clothes. We haven't gotten used to those neck pouches… and they show too. We've also found some travel clothes that have "hidden zippers" so you can spread things around. Nothings prefect, but it all helps.
Happy travels… even if you don't travel the world… just remember that life is a journey… embrace and enjoy it! http://www.mousetourstravels.com

Anything can be resold on eBay as long as you fall into their sales parameters and tell the buyer where you bought it previously.
If it's a certain type of collectible or autographed or limited edition then be sure that you're able to tell the buyer how many people it's gone through before coming to them. Some buyer are wary if they think it could be fake by going from person to person to person and so forth.

You can't just randomly ask people for money without a charitable cause permit. Otherwise you'd be panhandling which is also illegal in most locations. If you want to help her, get a job, or if you're too young to work, then ask your parents to help you find more creative solutions for earning money such as doing fall yard work for neighbours, walking your neighbour's dogs, shovelling snow for older home owners, etc.

Try local pickup, or through a company other than USPS.
Here is the reference for butterfly knives being illegal to send via USPS, btw butterfly knives are illegal in California and Mass, so don't purchase them if you are living there:
"It is also illegal to send butterfly knives through the U.S. Postal Service. Spyderco, a knife manufacturer, recently pleaded guilty in a U.S. Federal court case for sending butterfly knives in the mail between June 2005 and January 2007, and the company was fined $75,000."
