Chances are, with the level of exposure these images are currently getting, you may well have happened on them already today with a number of sites questioning whether these images are leaked, genuine images of Apple’s up and coming iPhone 4G – but you’ll not in the least bit be surprised to learn that these images are not leaked images of the iPhone 4G but are, in fact, a series of conceptual renderings.

Okay, to call them fakes, as we have in this post’s title, is a little strong as, in their own right, they aren’t (they are what they are) and, in fairness to the designer who created these renderings, they were never put forward as purporting to show the Real McCoy. That said, we’ve seen a number of postings questioning whether these images do indeed show the iPhone 4G so we thought we really ought to make it clear and put matters straight – they are not.

Still, as conceptual imagery goes, we must give the designer, a certain Seraphan (who initially posted these images here) credit as they are, without a doubt, pretty impressive (and the gallery above is well worth checking out). In fact we could almost excuse others for thinking that these may just be real – though we would like to emphasise that we said ‘almost’, okay?
