Dirt Devil- you will have to get on your hands and knees but it's great. I have tile so I understand about the sweeping and mopping it really sucks. I actually just got mine about two weeks ago and it rocks my world. Not too pricey either

I lived in taipei for about 6 years and after moving a few times there are things i expected and my friends did as well. A furnished flat is always good. Most forgeiners take their furniture from the garbage. Centrally located is important. Most English teachers are in Taiwan for a working holiday and if they come home from teaching and there isnt anything to do locally they wont rent from you for long. Being clean is very important. An outside space either on the rooftop or a balcony is also very important.
