iPhone 4.0 to Integrate Multitasking this Summer? [Rumors]

Apple will include much-asked-for application multitasking functionality when they release the iPhone 4.0 update sometime this summer, according to all-things-Apple blog AppleInsider. Multitasking (more specifically, the ability to run third-party applications in the background) is one of those big pieces of functionality that separates the iPhone OS from Android, and while Apple’s sort of worked around this problem with push notifications, there are instances when there’s no substitute for multitasking. I haven't had any problems with my keyboard, but the click wheel on my Mighty Mouse refuses to scroll up or down. Of course, that's probably an issue with my mouse and not the operating system itself.
