I read somewhere that the Black Parade is to represent the emo/goth kids- see? "black" – they dress in black, so a whole mass of them would be a black parade. Maybe that's not how they wished it to be interpreted, but I kind of liked the sound of that. The lyrics match up to the interpretation too:
A world that sends you reeling from decimated dreams
Your misery and hate will kill us all.
So paint it black and take it back
Let's shout it loud and clear
Defiant to the end we hear the call
To carry on

You are too cute. 60s and 70s music, huh? Who would have thunk? I think you have a lot going for you.
I used to hate going to my kids' schools and hearing how they needed to prepare for the next step. Elementary was preparing for middle school. Middle School was preparing for High School. High School was preparing College or Univesity. College and University were supposed to be preparing for LIFE. Well, life is now. Live it now.
I don't understand the whole vegetarian thing, but to each his own. I and my husband are of the yuppie generation. I'm sorry to say, I've never heard of a yippie. Our politics was to get ahead and succeed. We worked hard. We had two kids, eventually. Now we're semi-retired. And the economy is going to hell, threatening our savings and all the hard work we put in to live quietly and safely.
I wish you well. But be a kid first.
