In: web resources

Recently, there have been two great new web site launches for the design community. First of all there is Typedia, a community web site dedicated to collecting and classifying type. And then there is Color Scheme Designer, a veteran app that just got better, with a brand new design and super fast engine.

Everyone loves type and evryone will love Typedia. It is a new community website to classify typefaces and educate people about them. It is a mix between IMDb and Wikipedia, but just for type. Anyone can join, add, and edit pages for typefaces or for the people behind the type.

Color Scheme Designer is a fantastic color scheme creator app. It first surfaced way back (in internet terms) in 2002, and has just been redesigned with a brand new interface and a new engine. You will notice big improvements, not only in with the UI, its performance is much faster, than previous versions, it also has increased precision and color space conversions, better preview and enhanced scheme creation system. An amazing app.
