		<description>I don&#039;t think they&#039;ve had any serious problems with this issue. Some NASA missions have not lasted long enough for this to matter, but I&#039;m not sure if they really schedule around it. If you think about it, astronauts have issues with urine, feces, and other things normal to human functions. There are specially designed absorbent materials made to deal with these matters. Also, not all women have floods of blood during their periods. For instance, some women have very little flow. 

As far as the &quot;moody and argumentative&quot; assertion, I work with more men than I do women, and believe me some of those men can have some mighty testosterone rants during times of stress. 

Regarding &quot;not doing work&quot;, periods have never been something that kept me from getting my work done, and I never missed school or college because of them. You are focusing too much on one single issue which could possibly happen to cause humans of either sex from getting their work done.
