I definitely have one of those ever curious toddlers, too. There are some locks that are perfect for that kind of thing, but you have to be willing to use them. They work for everything! They are called refrigerator locks, but they also work on drawers if used creatively, dishwashers, sliding glass doors and just about anything. One end sticks to one side, the other sticks to the other side, and it has a childproof button that you push in the middle where it pulls open and you can lock it right back up.
I gave you a link to the one that I use… but there are all kinds of different varieties and sizes of them. This is a really good site to check out baby proofing.
