30 Sep 2009As web designers it would be nice to have the skills and creativity to design our own icons to match our perfectly crafted web sites. Instead, we rely on the skills of graphic designers who, thankfully, release free icon sets for the intricate design challenged. In this news edition we have three of the best recent icon sets that are freely available for downloading and are perfect for your next web site project.
This icon set is a collaboration between Woo Themes and WeFunction.com, and the set is called The WooFunction Icon Set (not the greatest name, but they are great icons, so we will let them off). The set includes 178 amazing web-related icons in a sophisticated and glossy design style. All 178 icons are available as 32×32 pixel PNG files and are most definetly pixel-perfect. This is the best icon set that has been released in many a month.

The zipped file contains an EPS file with the stickers with editable text so that you can create your own stickers. There are also stickers with fonts converted to outlines.
Designed and carefully optimized for use on toolbars and tab bars in iPhone apps, they’re also perfect for Android apps, websites, t-shirts, tattoos and more.
