Option B. Everything would disappear except those micro organisms that are autotrophic that is they can produce their own energy either phototrophically e.g most phytoplankton species and cyanobacteria or chemotrophically e.g deep sea vent bacteria.

Note: today the algae group of species such as phytoplankton are not considered to belong to the plant kingdom but are assigned to their own kingdom.
