A good source for do it yourself projects is the the for pros by pros series from Taun Taun Press. I used "Wiring A House (For Pros by Pros)" when I rewired mine. I suggest this because there may be more you need to know than what will be given here. This book will cover a lot you did not even think you needed to know. Make sure to pull a permit from your inspectors office or you may have trouble selling your house later. It is $16.47 at amazon.com
